How to Add Tickets and Set Pricing on GoJammin
Last reviewed: April 1, 2026
Tickets and products are the heart of every event on GoJammin. This guide will show you how to add your first ticket step by step, choose a pricing type, and configure additional sales options.
Go to the Tickets section in your event management panel — you’ll find it in the side menu
Click the button to create a new product to open the ticket creation form
Select the Product Type: Ticket (issues a ticket on purchase) or General (a general product, e.g., a t-shirt, without a ticket)

Select the Pricing Type: Paid (fixed price), Free (no charge), Donation / Pay What You Want (minimum price, buyer can pay more), or Tiered (multiple price levels)

Enter a Ticket Name (e.g., Standard Ticket, VIP Ticket) and optionally add a description
Set the Price (in your event’s currency) and Available Quantity — leave blank for unlimited

Click Save to add the ticket to your event — it will appear in the product list
Pricing types — which one to choose?
Paid product
The simplest option — you set a fixed price and every buyer pays the same amount. Ideal for most events with a set admission price.
Free product
Use this option for free events. The attendee reserves a ticket without paying — great for meetups, open workshops, or community events.
Donation / Pay What You Want
You set a minimum price, and the buyer can pay the same or more. The price field label changes to Minimum Price. This flexible option works well for jazz concerts, author meetups, or charity fundraisers.
Tiered product
Lets you create multiple price levels within a single product — for example, Early Bird, Standard, and VIP. Each tier has its own price, label, available quantity, sale start/end dates, and a hidden option.
Additional product options
After creating a basic ticket, you can expand sections with additional settings (collapsed by default):
Taxes and fees
You can assign previously created taxes or fees to this product. If you haven’t defined any rates yet, click the button to create a new tax or fee.
Order limits
Set the minimum and maximum quantity that can be purchased in a single order. Useful if you want to limit the number of tickets per person.
Sale period
Define the start and end dates for ticket sales. Outside this period, the ticket won’t be visible to buyers.
Visibility
The visibility section offers 7 toggles that let you precisely control when and how the ticket is shown to customers. Key options include: hide before sale starts, hide after sale ends, show available quantity, hide when sold out, and hide if no promo code.
Highlight
Enable the highlight option and add a message (e.g., Selling fast!) to draw buyers’ attention to this ticket.
