
We invite you to the "Qigong with a Stick" workshop The stick is one of the oldest exercise tools—the first mentions of its use date back to before our era! On the famous paintings from the Mawangdui tomb (Han dynasty, 206 BCE–220 CE), you can see figures performing Daoyin exercises with sticks in their hands—these are some of the oldest movement instructions in the world. Qigong with a stick is a practice that combines the harmony of yin and yang, man and nature, movement and breath. The movements are calm, fluid, and involve the whole body—they relax the joints, strengthen the muscles, and restore flexibility. It is not a martial art, but a gentle health gymnastics. You can take individual movements or entire sequences from this cycle and add them to your routine... If you sit a lot every day, it's worth taking care of the sensitive areas in your body. Knees—bend them over 90 degrees whenever you can. Spine—it has at least several planes of movement, remember that. Hands? Wrists? Hours frozen on the keyboard!
