    About the event

Autumn is an ideal time to strengthen body and mind.

I invite you to a Qigong practice — a proven way to raise energy levels, boost immunity, improve psychophysical condition and activate calm.

Classes begin with a short warm-up and self-massage. Besides Qigong practice itself we will learn the “Flying Crane” sequence and Yi Jin Jing. Both forms belong to medical qigong. A meditation is planned at the end of the class.

QIGONG is one of the oldest systems of self-healing exercises. This ancient practice strengthens and balances the flow of life energy (Qi) in the body, improves health and the condition of internal organs, strengthens muscles, tendons, joints and fascia, deepens self-awareness and restores inner calm and harmony.

    Qigong includes:

    • a set of movements and postures
    • self-massage
    • meditation

    Benefits of practice:

    • releasing tensions and stagnations in the body, removing blockages and chronic pain
    • restoring and maintaining the body's natural harmony
    • strengthening immunity, slowing down aging processes
    • increased vitality, energy level and creativity
    • improved concentration and memory, mental clarity and mindfulness
    • stress reduction, calming the mind, better sleep quality
    • increased emotional stability, a sense of inner calm and quiet
    • training deep body sensation
    • increased awareness of body and emotions
    • improved physical condition, increased flexibility, strengthening joints, tendons and fascia
    • improved health and strengthened functioning of internal organs
    • grounding, a feeling of being settled and rooted

    For whom:

    • people who want to take care of their health
    • those who want to strengthen immunity and daily energy levels
    • those who need to calm and regulate the nervous system, seeking tranquility
    • those who want to reduce stress, relax the body and release tension
    • those who want to regulate emotions more effectively and achieve emotional stability
    • people struggling with chronic illness
    • people looking for a way to unblock creativity and improve mental clarity
    • anyone, regardless of age and physical condition

    More about the method:

Qigong 'Flying Crane' — a very gentle practice involving smooth and soft movements that open energy points, enhance energy flow in the meridians and store energy. The practice focuses on the lower energy reservoir (dantian).

Yi Jin Jing — a traditional system of sequences (12 sequences), combining slow, mindful movements with more dynamic elements. It strengthens and makes tendons, muscles, joints and fascia more flexible, improves posture and regulates the nervous system.

About the instructor: Dorota Batorska — Qigong teacher, art therapist and drama trainer. She leads Qigong classes and personal development workshops with elements of intuitive movement, drama techniques, visual creation and meditation. Qigong practice opened her to a deeper understanding of the relationships between body, spirit and mind.

My teachers: I began learning the Qigong 'Flying Crane' practice in 2006 with master Liu Zhongchun (Beijing Qigong Association). Between 2006–2009 I participated in training camps and instructor courses. In 2022 I completed Dragonfly Qigong training with Steve Green and Yi Jin Jing training in Italy with Giuseppe Paterniti.
