Laboratory of Self – a series of open creative workshops

The Sztuka Ciała Theater invites you to a series of workshops focused on expression training. The workshops are scheduled to take place at the Palace of Culture and Science in October and November, culminating in a presentation of participants' creations and an online film. Participation in the program is free of charge. 🎭 "Laboratory of Self" is a series of creative meetings that help you return to your own language of expression. We don't teach you how to create. We help you hear, see, and feel that something that is already within you. Then, we explore the tools needed to act in harmony with yourself and maintain regular creative activity. Between meetings, we don't wait – we create. At your own pace, in the field of your choice. At the end, inviting an audience, we will share what has been created. In your own form. In your own style. On your own terms. 📅 Start: September 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM – first, a performance of "Lotus Flower" at Central Square, followed by an inaugural meeting and discussion. 📅 Workshop dates: - October 3, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM - October 17, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM - October 31, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM - November 7, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM - November 14, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM (All workshops will take place at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.) 📅 Finale: November 15 – presentation of participants' creations and a film that will be published online. 📝 Applications: Only until September 8, 2025, via the online form: https://formularz-online.com 📧 Questions can be sent to the email address: [email protected] (please include "Laboratory of Self" in the subject line). 👩‍🎨 Led by: Joanna Płóciennik and Katarzyna Markowska, artists who have been jointly creating the Sztuka Ciała Foundation for years. 👥 For whom? - For adults and teenagers aged 13 and up. - For those who feel the need to create and want to do so without pressure. - For those who try but are still held back by something. - For those who want to create daily – not just for special occasions. - For those who want to return to art or begin their journey with it.
