◯ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐉𝐎𝐆𝐀, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐙𝐎𝐆𝐀? The classes I propose evolve and are the sum of my several years of experience, inspirations, and changing approaches to movement and working with the body / through the body. The yoga I teach is not confined to one method; I draw from various sources and combine techniques that treat the human being as a whole. Above all, I play with movement and encourage the same during classes—with distance, humor, and joy in being in motion. It’s hard for me to fit into one category; perhaps I’m closest to vinyasa—in the sense where movement is connected with breath. I prepare sequences based on a gentle approach, incorporating elements from various forms—sometimes there’s flow, strengthening elements, mobilization, self-massage, sometimes stillness, rocking, soft melting into the mat. ◯ I incorporate elements of Zoga into the classes. 𝐙𝐎𝐆𝐀 is the youngest child of structural integration, which can also be called functional integration. It’s largely about restoring fascia glide, fluidity, lightness, and dance-like movements. Its goal is to create a posture and movement pattern in space that is efficient in gravity. We play with movement, experiment with classic yoga poses, restore proper sliding relationships between tissues, reconcile the body with gravity, and improve movement quality. Each meeting is different, tailored to the needs and energy level of the group. ◯ We practice with respect for our capabilities and limitations, without judgment, competition, or haste. Together, we create a safe space to discover the potential of our abilities. We collect experiences, seek softness, lightness, strength within ourselves, BALANCE between tension and relaxation—with time for questions, trials, modifications, in an atmosphere of calm and patience. ◯ The proposed classes are adapted to the individual capabilities of each participant, and their intimacy allows for more direct contact. ◯ 📅 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 - Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM - We meet in the unique space of the Śródmiejski Dom Kultury studio, right by pl. I’ve been introducing yoga and gentle movement for 14 years. I am a certified Japanese Zen Shiatsu massage therapist and a face therapist of the Japanese Kassaji® method. I completed the Zoga Movement Practice Advanced course under the guidance of the method’s creator—Wojtek Cackowski. I conduct regular classes, individual sessions, organize workshops and retreats. Since 2025, I am a graduate of Psychosomatics and Somatopsychology at SWPS University. I teach a mindful, respectful approach to working with the body. Communication is important to me in working with another person—a mutual exchange in a safe, trust-based atmosphere. I practice Kyudo—traditional Japanese archery. ◯ 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 - Kasia: "I’ve known Emilia and attended her classes for several years. From the very beginning, I was captivated by her calmness and patience, as well as the soothing energy and warmth she exudes. Both during regular classes and retreat workshops, she remains attentive to each participant and helps them grow, maintaining caution and wisdom. Every class with Emilia brings inner peace, solace... and happiness. I’ve never left a class dissatisfied, even when I was in the worst possible state of mind beforehand. I highly recommend her to everyone." - Kasia: "A truly great teacher: she gives space for personal yoga experience while also challenging you, teaching respect for your body and current capabilities. Thanks to Emilia, I’ve discovered new things in my body and know what and how to work on. Besides, she’s a wonderful person. I’m delighted!" - Magda: "Emilia is a wonderful teacher. Warm, sensitive, full of gentleness and acceptance. She doesn’t impose, doesn’t push, teaches understanding oneself and listening to the body’s needs. Every class is a big dose of exceptionally good energy. I love it!" - Natalia: "I’ve started yoga practice several times, abandoning it after a few weeks, usually due to a mismatch with the style, expectations of the instructor, and their inattentiveness, often also with large groups where I didn’t feel supported by the instructor guiding me in practice, but rather experienced their annoyance when something didn’t work for me. Emilia is the opposite of all these experiences, and her attentiveness, calmness, gentleness, but also a certain spark of mischief help me seamlessly integrate practice into life, day by day. Yoga with such a Teacher is a very good place in life, thank you Emilia and highly recommend!" - Wojtek: "Emilia is the best yoga teacher I’ve ever encountered. She conducts classes with understanding for students, with humor, in an interesting and friendly way. She willingly and patiently answers even the silliest questions. At the same time, despite the impression of ease and relaxed atmosphere, she is very professional in what she does. Highly recommend!"
