March nights already smell of warm, damp earth, and an evening walk in that atmosphere can be more interesting than we expect. Let’s go together for a walk through the nearby woods and check what stirs in them at night.
Early spring is an active time of year for most of our owls. Adult birds are choosing mates and call in ways that make your hair (or feathers, of course) stand on end. Our guide through the owl world will be Klaudia Gawrysiak — a licensed ornithologist and ringer. First she will tell us about owls, their habits, and the secret of silent flight. Then, after dusk, we will set off on a walk to check whether owls live in our neighbourhood.
Attention! For the walk, choose warm, comfortable outdoor clothing and bring torches.
We welcome children over 12 years old, adults and seniors. People under 18 must be supervised. The meeting point will be given to registered participants before the event.
Ooh-hoohoo
See you!
