Relationships between siblings are among the earliest and most formative experiences of contact. In that space we learn closeness and separation, rivalry and coexistence, care and the struggle for emotional survival. It is there and then that the first relational matrix is created — a prototype of how later in life we form bonds, compete for attention, regulate closeness and distance, defend our integrity or give it up.
During the workshop, from a Gestalt perspective we will look at sibling relationships as a field in which the Self develops. A systemic perspective will also help us better understand a system of mutually connected functions and roles.
This specialist workshop is intended for psychotherapists and students of psychotherapy schools (after completing the 2nd year).
The workshop will be led by Katarzyna Kopińska-Zaborowska, a certified Gestalt psychotherapist (PTPG and EAGT certifications).
The workshop comprises 25 training hours.
