The moment when our family wants/decides to grow. It is an extraordinary moment for the two people, but often also for many others around them.
It is the beginning of a path that can be simple, without turbulence, yet for many couples it is bumpy and sometimes relies on medical procedures and is not always successful.
The end of that path, and at the same time the beginning of a completely different story, can be the embrace of a biological child. Sometimes it is a decision to change plans, and other times it is the welcoming of a new family member who was born somewhere else in the world and is now with us. There are many other endings to this story, which is why we would like to invite those of you who have just made this decision and already know that a not-very-easy path lies ahead — to a workshop where you will learn how to take care of yourselves during this journey.
Workshop led by:
Weronika Rogulska-Myszko — psychotherapist. In 2016 I completed a comprehensive psychotherapy course and group training at the Institute of Integral Gestalt Psychotherapy in Kraków, accredited by EAGT (European Association of Gestalt Therapy). For many years I have actively worked as a psychologist and psychotherapist. In work with clients I am attentive, sensitive, but also strong, which provides a good, solid support in difficult situations, while caring for the delicacy of a person experiencing emotions. An added value is a sense of humor, which helps to catch a breath and gather strength for further development.
Marta Widawska — psychotherapist in the final stage of a four-year Gestalt training at the Institute of Integral Gestalt Psychotherapy in Kraków, accredited by EAGT, educator and sociotherapist. She creates an atmosphere of safety in which couples can freely talk about their experiences related to trying for a child. She accompanies participants with delicacy but also with clear guidance, helping them better understand themselves and each other.
Date: 16.05-17.05
The workshop includes 18 teaching hours.
Cost: 1400 pln per couple.
