
We invite you to a stationary weekend course on the basics of using herbs in the center of Warsaw. During the course you will learn: - what substances are found in herbs - how to collect herbs - how to process them - how to safely use medicinal plants and essential oils - you will learn the history of herbalism - you will have the opportunity to see old herbal books - you will learn how to assemble a home herbal first aid kit - you will find out where to look for reliable information about herbs The course is an excellent foundation for expanding your knowledge of using herbs in various areas of health, as well as for participating in botanical walks and workshops. The course is conducted in a small group (maximum 10 participants) in a unique and absolutely one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The course is led by Małgorzata Adamiak-Zabłocka, a graduate of postgraduate studies at SGGW in the Department of Vegetable and Medicinal Plants, a herbalist - phytotherapist with a diploma from the Institute of Monastic Medicine in Katowice - Panewniki, a member of the Polish Society of Herbalists and Phytotherapists, a graduate of the "Detailed Phytotherapy" course by Dr. Henryk Różański and botanical courses at the Jagiellonian University, author of the website and blog Klinika Podagryka, traveler, seeker and researcher of old herbal recipes, collector of folk herbal healing methods, lover of good and healthy cuisine, kayaking, cycling trips and dancing. She likes to combine traditional herbal healing methods with contemporary research, while remaining a follower of old herbalism and naturopathy. The ability to analyze topics and precisely convey knowledge, as well as didactic skills gained from mathematical studies at the University of Warsaw, are combined with a love of Nature and a passion for sharing her herbal knowledge.
