You are warmly invited to an 8-week hybrid meditation training that includes Jon Kabat‑Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR®) method and somatic bodywork based on Somatic Experiencing®.
A parallel, identical training will run from February 5 in Piaseczno: Facebook
Since 2010, when MBSR appeared in Poland, I have taught it continuously — as a teacher, a Zen Buddhist, and a person confronting my inner demons. Over time I have enriched this structure with techniques that support effective use of meditation practices. I create a space for sharing in a safe circle (in line with the SE approach).
Mindfulness is nonjudgmental presence with what we feel in a given moment. By practicing it, we stop feeding thoughts that are often the main source of stress.
The body — always present — constantly calls for our attention, reacting even to unconscious content. Meditation allows us to pause, notice what we are doing to ourselves, and take responsibility for it.
Meditation does not replace psychotherapy, but it can support it. Before starting the course, it is worth informing your therapist about it.
Contraindications: active depression, severe anxiety states, psychoses, addictions, active PTSD.
