This workshop invites you to learn low balances step by step — from solid fundamentals, through understanding key technical points and movement biomechanics, to smooth transitions and vinyasas.
We will examine movement biomechanics so balances become more accessible, stable, and less forceful. In practice we will try different entries into low balances, learning controlled exits and transitions. Poses will be treated as elements of movement rather than goals in themselves. Then we will combine the learned elements into vinyasas — fluid sequences with low balances, where breath, focus and coordination also play an important role.
We will pay attention to the balance between mobility and stability and to how to work safely within movement ranges while building both strength and lightness in the body.
