For several years now, we've been constantly asked: when will it finally be possible to sign up for an aerial yoga teacher training at NAYS? We've been preparing it for a long time, did our best, and last year we led it for a group of wonderful teachers. Today, these women are teaching classes and substituting, and it's a pleasure to watch! And now, we invite you to the next edition. The training is dedicated to yoga teachers. To participate, please send a scan of your RYT 200 or other teacher training certificate. Is your situation complicated? Are you currently in a teacher training course? Write to us! The aerial yoga you'll learn in this training is not a practice separated from classical yoga, but rather an extension of it. The hammock is another prop in practice, like a strap or blanket, but due to its wide range of applications and ease of transitions between positions, it allows for more dynamic sequences. This style of practice is especially suitable for teachers who prefer breath-driven vinyasas. Once you get to know the hammock well, you'll notice it expands your practice, adding elements of play, relief, and relaxation for both you and your students, but also challenge and strengthening, depending on your intentions. You'll see that you can structure practices so that the hammock is present throughout, or interweave aerial asanas with mat asanas and pranayama, creating your own style that serves you and your students. In this training, we'll also place special emphasis on sequencing in aerial yoga practice, which is usually only briefly touched upon in shorter trainings. We'll get to know both the single-point hammock (we'll spend most of our time at the Mokotów studio), but we'll also experience the two-point hammock – we'll take a trip to NAYS in Bemowo to find out what might surprise us and ultimately not be surprised. We'll also devote a few hours to training in relaxation and restorative positions and techniques with the hammock. We won't skip important psychological aspects of leading practice, we'll look at working with fear, group work, and participants' attention. I hope you'll leave this training with stimulated creativity and a set of tools that will help you grow on your path as a yoga teacher. Martyna -------------------------------------------------- The course is led by Martyna Czyżewska, with assistance from the NAYS team if needed. Martyna about herself: My love is the hammock. I discovered its amazing properties when, due to physically demanding work, I constantly felt discomfort in my body. Thanks to aerial yoga, I got rid of pain, fear, and stress. Now I want to share this passion with others. I am a certified Hatha Yoga RYT 200 and Unnata® Aerial Yoga Level 3 teacher, a master of psychology, and a traveler. For several years, traveling intensively, I had the opportunity to practice yoga in many different places around the world. From the combination of all these inspirations, the idea for N.A.Y.S. was born—a place offering the highest standard without pretension, yoga without pressure, and above all, kindness. Simply NAYS. For 7 years, I've been lucky to run NAYS Mokotów, and for almost two years, also NAYS Bemowo. My greatest joy as a teacher is that I have trained and inspired all the wonderful aerial yoga teachers at NAYS with a passion for the hammock.
