Narbutta Street is an extraordinary space in Upper Mokotów. A street with the atmosphere of pre-war Warsaw. Here, we will see luxurious tenement houses from the 1930s, villas, a small palace, and a modernist housing estate. Before the war, famous Poles lived here: film stars, graphic artists, painters, industrialists, architects, and politicians. During the walk, we will learn, among other things: - who moved the entire society - where the famous singer lived - who had unbelievable audacity - whose steps were matched by Jurandot's tango - who was unaffected by the occupation - who was a master of telling spicy anecdotes (we'll share a few) - where we can find Paris - where there is a shelter not disclosed in the project - what caused a revolution in the cosmetics market - what the Masonic lodge looked like and where it was - who received the highest fee in the world - where we can find erotic bas-reliefs - who went from Warsaw to Paris - who was madly in love with life - where the love triangle was - who designed the PRL and many more. 📅 Start: 11.10 (Saturday), 4 PM, Narbutta Street 84 ⏳ Duration of the walk: approximately 2 hours. 📍 End: Narbutta near Puławska. The walk will be led by KASIA - a licensed Warsaw guide. 📞 Tel. 505 023 782 Participation in the walk is free, but a tip after the walk will be warmly welcomed. We gently remind you that we put a lot of substantive and documentary work into preparing the walk to make it as attractive as possible for you.
