Participation in the training positively affects the psychophysical condition of participants, reduces psychophysical tension, lowers stress levels and susceptibility to the negative impact of occupational stress, and positively influences the well-being and work efficiency of teachers and other professionals working with children. Program description The training program is based on the Original Play prevention and intervention program, focusing on preventing aggression, conflicts, and social exclusion, responding non-aggressively to difficult emotions and behaviors in children, and supporting children's development and learning process through primal play. It presents an alternative to aggression and violence, without the need to use force, while maintaining self-esteem and not violating the self-esteem of others. It enriches adults' competencies in responding to children's aggression, violence, and fears without resorting to defensive mechanisms based on fighting or self-defense. It provides skills to create a safe space for expressing physical or verbal aggression, enabling its transformation. The training is workshop-based. The theoretical part covers topics such as: - Cultural play – primal play. - Attitudes, response patterns, and their impact on the child's functioning. - Alternative ways of responding beyond patterns of fighting and fear (The essence of primal play). The practical part of the training is based on exercises, working with the body and emotions. Exercises help participants recognize signals from the body and transform response patterns based on fighting and fear into patterns based on a sense of safety. Experiencing primal play is a mindfulness practice that helps anchor oneself in the present and restore the ability to experience safety, relaxation, and true reciprocity. It is an opportunity to gain insight into one's own emotions and feelings and understand their impact on children's functioning. Workshop participants learn how to respond non-aggressively to children's difficult emotions and behaviors and how to become an authentic role model and safe base for the child, enabling the child to build self-esteem and joyfully realize their full developmental potential.
