Psychosexual development of children and adolescents within developmental norms as well as in the autism and ADHD spectrum The training is dedicated to specialists and parents who want to deepen their knowledge about the psychosexual development of children in preschool and early school age. This meeting combines comprehensive theoretical knowledge with practical tools to help support children in understanding relationships, bodily boundaries, and the world of emotions. During the training, participants will learn how to talk to children about the body, intimacy, and relationships, how to support emotional and social development in everyday situations, and how to respond to challenging behaviors—especially in the case of children on the autism spectrum and with ADHD. Together, we will analyze the course of psychosexual development in children within developmental norms and neurodivergent children. In the workshop part, an original method for teaching bodily boundaries to children and adolescents will be presented, which can be used by parents, teachers, and therapists. It allows for safe and natural exploration of the world, shaping healthy beliefs about relationships, closeness, and intimacy. During the training, we will discuss, among others: - psychosexual development of a child from conception to adolescence; - what a child should know about body structure, parenthood, and boundaries of intimacy; - sexual education in everyday life; - protection of one's own body, learning to understand and communicate boundaries; - parental attitudes and the impact of family relationships on the psychosexual development of the child; - self-stimulatory behaviors – how to understand them; - the impact of sensory disorders on psychosexual development; - games and forms of world exploration: norm or disorder?; - possible risks of psychosexual development disorders in the context of neurodivergence; - creating educational materials; - case study. Trainer: MA Paulina Natalia Podrez – founder of Przestrzeń Holistic centers, psychologist, psychodynamic psychotherapist, sexologist, couples therapist. Member of the Polish Sexological Society and the Polish Society for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She has over 14 years of therapeutic experience and since 2022 has been the founder of the Przestrzeń Holistic clinic with two branches in Warsaw. In recent years, she has mainly worked with adults, including conducting individual and couples therapy, and sexual education for people on the autism spectrum and with ADHD. In her career, she has coordinated numerous trainings in personal development and psychology, as well as created innovative workshops using films and psychological games. She co-led a therapeutic group for people experiencing relationship difficulties. For years, she has given interviews and written reviews for GWP and PWN publishing houses. She has had the pleasure of conducting social skills training and created sexual education groups for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and with ADHD, along with individual therapy and parental consultations. She created an original program for teaching bodily boundaries to children and adolescents within developmental norms and those on the autism and ADHD spectrum.
