My Face. Self-Portraits — creative family workshop for children aged 7–12

We invite you to a creative family workshop accompanying the exhibition “Kwestia kobieca 1550–2025”.

• Are they alone in the paintings, or is someone with them?
• What objects do they hold or have around them?
• Are they smiling, serious, or do other emotions appear on their faces?

During this meeting we will focus on ourselves — our main theme will be the self-portrait. While walking through the exhibition, we will look at how female artists from different eras depicted themselves and what we can learn from them.

• In the creative part we will make our own portraits. They do not have to be ordinary likenesses of faces — the work will allow you to express a unique view of the world, passions and interests.
• It’s a special opportunity to get to know yourself better and create together as a family.

The meeting will be led by Wanda Woźnicka — an educator collaborating with the Museum of Modern Art. A graduate of cultural studies and pedagogy, she is currently studying alternative and artistic education at the University of Warsaw. She is interested in new perspectives on the learning process and creative teaching methods.

Meeting point: workshop room on level -1 (entrance through the cinema tower).
