It may seem that an artist only paints with brushes on canvas… but they showed that art can be an adventure, movement and great courage. Lucio Fontana, Yoko Ono, Georges Mathieu, Yves Klein — artists who did things with paintings that nobody dared to do! What connects these artists? Although each of them did something different, they all showed that art is not just pretty pictures; art is courage, movement, ideas and new ways of seeing the world. Anyone can express themselves in a unique way. Workshops I – More than a brush During these workshops participants will discover that painting is more than a brush and an easel. We will experiment with different tools and textures — we will use hands, sticks, sponges, string, and even our own breath. Workshops II – Eyes closed, open mind – intuitive painting We will invite participants to paint without visual control — with closed eyes, intuitively, with full trust in themselves. It is a meeting with silence, imagination and the emotions that may appear when we let go of “nice drawings” and begin to listen to the inner creative impulse.
