Bielany invites you to a unique event – St. Francis Day and Bielański Forest. As every year, we are organizing an ecological picnic for this occasion. Guests can enjoy numerous attractions: - outdoor concert - theater performance - educational games - interactive shows 📅 Date: October 5, 2025, Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📍 Location: Area around the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dewajtis Street 3 Free admission! NOTE: In case of rainy weather, the event will take place in the Dobrego Miejsca building. 🌿 Be ECO: Organizers encourage attendees to arrive at the event in an eco-friendly way. You can use the shuttle carriage that will run along Dewajtis Street, come by bike, or walk. It is important to leave cars outside the forest to protect the beauty of Bielański Forest. During the picnic, there will be a folk handicraft and homemade food fair. Craftsmen from all over Poland will present unique items such as jewelry, ceramics, paintings, and toys. Food stalls will feature traditional breads, honey, cold cuts, and many other specialties. PROGRAM: - 10:00 AM – Start of the handicraft and homemade food fair - 11:00 AM – Solemn Holy Mass (Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary) - approx. 12:00 PM – Blessing of animals (outdoor stage in front of the Church) – we invite you to bring your dogs, cats, and other interesting animals - approx. 12:15 PM – Concert on the outdoor stage – INULA Band - approx. 1:30 PM – Performance from the Sunday Fairy Tales series: Good Heart Theater "Animals from the Clearing" - 12:00 PM–3:00 PM – attractions for children on the sports field (inflatable structures, interactive stalls, games and activities, alpacas) 🎶 INULA Band – concert "Song of the Earth" The band will perform original songs blending ethno-folk and sung poetry. Inula's lyrics revolve around nature, ecology, and herbalism. The musical backdrop for their compositions includes music played on unique instruments such as ethnic flutes, charango, marimba, bass balalaika, and Tibetan gong. 🎭 Good Heart Theater – "Animals from the Clearing" This is a soulful fairy tale about love and the beauty of creation. Two forest gnomes find an Elf lost in the world of animals and plants. He soon becomes a model of harmony and peace for the inhabitants of the clearing. The Elf falls in love with the light of the Sun, but his homeland – the night – calls him back. Wisdom and love prove stronger than the power of the Elf Queen. The event is organized by: Catholic Cultural Center Dobrego Miejsca, Parish of Blessed E. Detkens, and Mayor Grzegorz Pietruczuk along with the Council and Board of Bielany District.
