Invitation to the Great Feast Let it be known that in the year of our Lord 2025, on October 5th, on our Ochota land, common folk and nobles, elders and children, shall gather to celebrate the thousandth anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław Chrobry, the first Polish king. Therefore, we call upon you, neighbors and friends, to come in great numbers to the grand picnic feast, where food and drinks, music and games, as well as knightly and craft activities, will delight souls and hearts. All are warmly welcome – young squires, noble ladies, and brave knights alike. Medieval attire is encouraged but not mandatory. 📍 Meeting place: Szczęśliwicki Park (near Drawska Street) ⏰ Start time: 12:00 Come, and together we shall honor the memory of King Bolesław, who a thousand years ago brought glory to the Polans with his crown and sword. Dana, dana! – Let no one from Ochota stay at home! Family Integration Picnic – this is a showcase of non-governmental organizations, institutions, and private initiatives operating in the Ochota district, presenting their offerings in assistance, education, culture, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and social activity. The project/event is funded by the Ochota District of the City of Warsaw. The task is carried out by the WISE Association. This is a great opportunity to meet, establish contacts, and collaborate among representatives of various institutions, facilities, foundations, and associations operating in Ochota. On October 5th, nearly 50 entities will showcase their activities in Szczęśliwicki Park. The Family Integration Picnic has a long history and tradition; this will be our nineteenth gathering!
