Although he is saved from a terrible dragon by three mysterious Ladies, the credit is claimed by the amusing bird-catcher Papageno. Will he be punished for this? Who is the furious Queen of the Night, singing one of the most famous arias in opera history? What role does the wizard Sarastro play in this world? With the help of a magical flute, will Tamino be able to find and rescue his beloved, the beautiful Pamina? Will the silver bells lead Papageno to his love? Brave and thoughtful Tamino, together with the mischievous chatterbox Papageno, will find answers to these and other questions during their shared journey. Each of them receives a magical instrument for the road, and the extraordinary power of music will surely help them face all trials and difficulties. The artists of the Polish Royal Opera invite the youngest music lovers to a staging of Mozart's The Magic Flute, specially prepared for them by the late Andrzej Klimczak. This fairy-tale story is a wonderful opportunity to show children the extraordinary world of opera, where brilliant music, singing and dancing, breathtaking sets and costumes, and a moving story merge into one coherent work that is hard to remain indifferent to.
