About the event

Dear Woman,



Do you sometimes feel that your emotions guide your life more than you do? Or would you like to sense your body, understand your reactions and find calm, balance and self-confidence?



I have a special invitation for you — a series of body-awareness workshops “Laboratory of Emotions”, in which, through choreotherapy, dance and movement therapy and emotional work, you will discover how your body can become your guide and ally.



This is not an ordinary meeting — it is a journey to yourself where you can experiment, explore and accept your emotions in a safe and supportive space.



  • Emotions arise in the body and can be understood and processed there. Even if you suppress them, the body "remembers" — it manifests them as pain, tension or fatigue.
  • Working with the body is one of the most effective paths to self-knowledge, taming emotions and regaining energy.
  • Regularity and continuity of meetings allow for deeper, lasting change that stays with you every day.
  • The workshops combine theory and practice: in a friendly group you will learn tools to work with emotions and also experience them through movement, breath and creative exercises.

Can’t participate in all meetings? No problem — you can also join selected ones.

You don't need previous experience or special fitness. Openness and willingness to experiment are enough.

(Each meeting also has goals tailored to the specific topic.)



General meeting plan:



  • 09:45 - 10:00 — time to change clothes, have tea and calmly prepare for the class
  • 10:00 - 10:10 — welcome, group introductions, setting common rules
  • 10:10 - 11:30 — theoretical part: inspirations and knowledge related to the topic
  • 11:30 - 12:30 — practical part: warm-up, exercises (movement, props, drawing and more), 15–20 min break
  • 12:30 - 12:45 — closing and integrating the experienced practices
  • 12:45 - 13:00 — end of the workshop: summary and sharing reflections and impressions


(The plan is flexible and adjusted to the needs of the group.)

About me:



Sylwia Filipska — by profession a Germanist, privately a devotee of a holistic approach to life and a practitioner of the therapeutic dimension of the body. She first fell in love with dance, later discovered the body and how important it is to be coherent, in unity with body, soul and spirit.



For several years she has been sharing her passion with others by leading workshops, inspiring and helping women she meets to return to themselves through returning to their bodies — to what is primal in us. She deeply believes that the body holds wisdom and answers we seek.



She gained substantive and practical knowledge in workshop leadership by completing the Dance Therapy course with Dr. Marzena Śniarowska-Tlatlik and the Dance Therapy Techniques and Movement Analysis course at the Iba Center for Dance and Movement Therapy. She has also participated in numerous workshops on body awareness and body work, including Danza Contemplativa (Contemplative Dance), "Body and Relationships" within the Educators' School, and "Body, Knowing and Accepting Yourself".



She currently runs the original project back2yourself, through which she shares knowledge in choreotherapy/dance and movement therapy and organizes body-awareness workshops for women, creating a space for meeting and experiencing in the body that brings change into life.
