I invite you to a walk along Nowy Świat, the former salon of Warsaw. During the walk, we will hear stories that are not necessarily known to everyone. 🗓️ We meet on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the corner of Nowy Świat and Świętokrzyska 4 (behind the Staszic Palace). The walk is planned to last about 80 minutes. During the walk, we will find out, among other things: - Where did the Dudek Cabaret make people laugh? - Who was called the Chaplin in a skirt? - Where was one of the first dance halls in Warsaw? - Who was Agent No. 1 and where did he live? - Where could you buy Viennese coffee? - Where did Fryderyk Chopin's parents live? - What was located at the site of the House under the Bras? - Where did Ignacy Jan Paderewski play the piano? - Where did Princess Kiuko, the sister-in-law of the Emperor of Japan, buy shoes? - and many more... There is no fee for participating in the walk, but if you feel that the guide deserves a tip (...) The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek.
