I invite you to a New Year's walk through the alleys of the Old Town district. During the walk, we will hear stories not necessarily known to everyone. ✨ We meet on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the corner of Miodowa and Kapucyńska streets. The walk is planned for about 1.5 hours. We will find out, among other things: - How was New Year's celebrated during the Saxon era? - Where do shouts and laughter wake people up at night? - Where will we meet a man armed with an ice axe? - Where will we meet a woman in a red dress without a head? - Where did the red light in brothels come from? - Where was the prison where parties lasted until dawn? - Who established the first investigative commission? - Which family had a private ghost, and who was already haunting during their lifetime? - Where could you buy cocaine before the war? - Which street was known as the center of Warsaw's erotic tourism? - Who slept on the staircase of their own house? ...and many more. There is no fee for participating in the walk, but if you think the guide deserves a tip (...) The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek. You are warmly invited and see you there.
