On March 17 we will watch the film “Franz Kafka” directed by Agnieszka Holland. After the screening we will meet the director in person!
This is a portrait of a twentieth-century literary icon seen up close — as a person full of fears, doubts and inner contradictions. In this story Kafka is surprisingly close: torn, sensitive, entangled in bureaucratic everyday life and his own anxieties, which resonate especially strongly today — also for the younger generation.
The film received 10 nominations for the Orły awards (the gala is on March 9). A few days later we watch it together — how many statuettes do you think it will receive?
After the screening we invite you to a conversation with AGNIESZKA HOLLAND — a creator for whom Kafka is spiritually particularly close.
