𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘, movement classes for people aged 40+ 📅 TUESDAY 19:00-20:20 (starting 23.09) 💰 Trial classes on 23.09 and 30.09 (cost 100 PLN), regular participation cost: 200 PLN/month (4 classes) 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: KAROLINA KROCZAK My goal is to create a group for people interested in deepening their relationship with their own body through movement and dance. I want to share practices and exercises that turn movement limitations, reduced fitness, or moments when the body is not a “perfect machine” into opportunities to explore its quality, personal movement potential, and individual possibilities for motor development. The idea of the classes is experimentation - how to exercise to meet your curiosity rather than a boundary to overcome. We will use patterns found in contemporary dance, improvisational exercises and tasks, as well as exercises supporting mobility and flexibility. For the most part, this will be work without physical contact with another person. I invite everyone who feels drawn to this formula - but I especially dedicate this group to middle-aged individuals, as this is a good time for such practice, and I also see that (in the context of movement development) this group is less catered to. What can you expect? - I won’t teach you how to dance, nor will you memorize choreography or long movement sequences - instead, I’ll show you how to become curious about movement exploration, and we’ll work on movement awareness and its flow. - We’ll expand the repertoire of movement qualities available to us. - We’ll consider the logic of connections within the body and how it can function ergonomically. - We’ll feel what it’s like to rely on the body’s structure, which we’ll strengthen and simultaneously make more flexible. - We won’t just exercise together but - more importantly - explore our approach to the body and seek encounters with what intrigues, motivates, or even excites us in movement. An important element of these classes is the process - for it to happen, time and consistency are needed, so I invite those interested in regular group participation. I have 20 years of experience as a movement teacher and an even longer personal practice: I want to show you tools, practices, and exercises that have accompanied me for years and allow me to work with my body daily (despite the limitations and crises my body has experienced). 📧 Want to sign up or have questions?
