Do you work in a non-governmental organization? Or are you part of an informal social group in the Mazovia region? Working in an NGO is fulfilling, but do you also feel overwhelmed by it? Do you feel like you lack support? Do you think that few people understand the challenges of working in the social sector? Would you like to give yourself space for growth while simultaneously strengthening professional ties with other organizations? If so, these workshops are for you! We warmly invite you to three networking workshops for the third sector as part of the NGO Circles series. NGO Circles are meetings of activists in the non-governmental sector within a developmental work circle, where acceptance and supportive communication are prioritized, and the focus is on being rather than achieving something. In each circle, we will: - Build the internal resources of social activists, such as a sense of support, control over stress and difficult emotions, and mental resilience; and - Create an optimal space for third-sector integration through exchange and discovering new fields of cooperation between participating organizations. During the meetings, we will use tools and exercises from psychoeducation and personal development to foster openness and authenticity among participants, while moderating the group’s positive energy to direct it toward creating new professional connections. If these challenges resonate with you as they do with us, and the solutions are close to your heart—come, meet, talk, learn, and breathe—among your peers, together with other NGO members! 📋 Sign up for the workshops today by filling out the form: https://forms.gle/pmFrPQLre7E6yn9Z8 We aim to provide as many people as possible with the opportunity to participate. Therefore, as a rule, one person can sign up for only one workshop. However, if you are interested in attending two or three sessions, indicate your interest in the form! We will contact you if there are available spots. 📅 WORKSHOP PROGRAM: - Workshop 1: Communication in NGOs—Rooted in the Body and Emotions—23.09.2025 (Tuesday) What emotions and needs are hidden in our communication? In this session, you will deepen your awareness of the emotions and needs behind your communication in a chosen professional situation in the third sector and learn how to create more conscious messages. - Workshop 2: Mental Resilience in Activist Work—02.10.2025 (Thursday) A workshop on the factors that weaken our mental resilience and those that build or strengthen it. We will share experiences from our work and learn from others. The session will combine individual and group work and allow our bodies to relax. - Workshop 3: Assertiveness in the Professional Space—08.10.2025 (Wednesday) In this workshop, we will discuss the differences between submissiveness, assertiveness, and aggression, as well as what hinders us from adopting an assertive stance in communication. We will focus on communication situations in activist work and relationships within the third sector. 📖 Learn more about NGO Circles here: https://fundacja.projectflou.pl/kregi-ngo/ 📍 TECHNICAL INFORMATION: - Where?
