Narbutta Street is an extraordinary space in Upper Mokotów. Here, like nowhere else, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of pre-war Warsaw. During the walk, we will see luxurious tenement houses from the 1930s, villas, a small palace, and a modernist housing estate. Narbutta is a street that, before the war, was inhabited by film stars, painters, graphic artists, architects, industrialists, and politicians. During the walk, we will learn, among other things: - who moved the whole society - where the famous singer lived - who had unbelievable audacity - whose step was matched by Jurandot's tango - who was unaffected by the occupation - who was a master of telling spicy anecdotes (we'll share a few) - where we can find Paris - where there is a shelter not revealed in the project - what caused a revolution in the cosmetics market - what the Masonic lodge looked like and where it was - who received the highest fee in the world - where we can find erotic bas-reliefs - who went from Warsaw to Paris - who was madly in love with life - where the love triangle was - who designed the PRL and many more ✨ Start: 21.12 (Sunday), 12:00, Narbutta St. 84 ⏳ Duration of the walk: about 2 hours. End: Narbutta at Puławska. The walk will be led by KASIA – a licensed Warsaw guide. 📞 Tel. 505 023 782 Participation in the walk is free, but a tip after the walk will be appreciated. We gently remind you that we put a lot of substantive and documentary work into preparing the walk to make it as attractive as possible for you.
