    About the event

    PREMIERE "Gulliver's Travels"

    FOR WHOM
The performance is intended for audience members aged 8 and above.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFORMANCE
“Gulliver's Travels” after Jonathan Swift, directed by award-winning theatre director and creator Krzysztof Garbaczewski, is a story about language that constantly challenges us. The famous novel is adapted as a hybrid production combining classical puppet theatre with elements of virtual reality. Garbaczewski cleverly uses Swift’s novel, recreating its satirical character. The director builds a story about acceptance and tolerance in new, untamed worlds. The contemporary version of “Gulliver's Travels” is a multidimensional project inspired by literary classics and employing new technologies, in which physical puppets created by Aleksandra Wasilkowska will coexist on stage with avatars animated in real time.
