ABOUT THE ARTISTS: Teatr JUMAJA is a professional acting group offering Young Audiences an attractive theatrical and animation program for every occasion. Teatr Jumaja has been active since 2009, specializing in educational and artistic performances for preschool and early-school children. The ensemble consists of four professional actresses and actors — graduates of the PWST:
All Teatr Jumaja performances are enriched with original set design and scripts, supplemented with original songs composed especially for the theatre by Andrzej Perkman to texts by Katarzyna Afek. The productions develop children's imagination, teach values and introduce the youngest to the world of art, as well as popularize poetry and literature, encouraging children to read and play creatively with words. Katarzyna Afek has for years served on the juries of prestigious theatre competitions and reviews, including the “Warszawska Syrenka”, which further confirms Teatr Jumaja's professionalism and recognition in the theatre community.
