We invite you to the second meeting in the series "What moves. What moves you" – nine workshops combining somatic Body-Mind Centering® practice with movement improvisation. NERVOUS SYSTEM – SENSITIVITY AND REGULATION What does the body do when I’m not thinking about it? How does it react, how does it return to balance, how does it enter into relationships? During the workshop, we will look at the nervous system from a somatic perspective – as a network of connections that registers, organizes, and interprets our experiences. Through somatic practices based on the Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) approach, we will experience the qualities of the sympathetic, parasympathetic, and somatic nervous systems. We will practice brain fluidity, let go of the head, follow the “gut feeling”, dance, and maybe even sit in the synapses, supporting the nervous system in finding balance between alertness and relaxation, action and rest. Improvisation will become a space where the nervous system opens access to readiness, presence, and the ability to choose. ABOUT THE SERIES: A series of nine workshops combining somatic Body-Mind Centering® practice with movement improvisation. Once a month, from October to June, we will explore the body as a space of movement, imagination, sensation, and presence. The series is aimed at people who want to deepen contact with their body, develop their own movement language, and embodied expression. We create space for regeneration, creativity, and meeting – with what is alive in us and between us. More about the series: https://fb.me/e/3EFPTGk68 *We invite you to participate in the entire series, which will last nine months.
