There will be music from various traditions, simple steps and, above all, a circle. The circle, which has no beginning or end, symbolizes the cyclical nature of life, unity with nature and community. While dancing your individual steps, you can at the same time feel part of a larger whole and the shared dance.
Circle dances are an age-old way of celebrating being together and building community.
Comfortable clothing and shoes are the only things you need. The steps are easy to learn regardless of fitness, age or dance experience. Because really it’s not about the steps, but about meeting one another in dance. You are welcome!
The event is a neighborhood initiative, organized thanks to the kindness of Agnieszka Muzyka Pędzich.
Lead: Agnieszka Muzyka Pędzich – she has been dancing various dance forms for over 10 years, especially completely spontaneous, intuitive, improvised dance and circle dances. On a daily basis she works at a foundation that creates spaces for dialogue in various public areas, involves residents in decision-making processes and strengthens local communities.
Free admission.
