Sobietańce – intuitive dance gathering

We invite you to take part in another meeting called “Sobietańce” – a neighborhood dance party based on the form of intuitive dance. You don’t need to know any steps to dance with us. We will frolic to ethnic music from Poland and around the world. You may bring instruments that fit the style of the meeting. We dance without shoes (in socks or ballet flats), in any comfortable outfit. Come and Sobietańcz!

The event is a neighborhood initiative, organized thanks to the kindness of Magdalena Kobierecka.

Host: Magdalena Kobierecka – a painter who runs her own gallery in Bielany, founder of the Format Art Studio.

Inviting the Bielany community to co-create the project called “Sobietańce”, she says about herself: “After painting, dance is my second great passion. Art became my profession, so dance is recreation and taking care of fitness. Intuitive forms of movement, without clear frames and rules, are a great opportunity for active relaxation, and even art therapy.”
