At the next Circle we'll talk about the impact of technology on our lives. We will consider together whether they give us freedom and make functioning easier, or whether they limit us. Could we live without them? Would life without social media be better and more meaningful? Are our smartphones a problem? These questions will serve as a starting point for sharing our experiences and reflections about living in times when any information is at our fingertips on our phones.
As always at the Circle there will also be room for side topics that we want or need to discuss.
Circle meetings are a safe and empathetic space for sharing your emotions, experiences, difficulties, or life challenges. In the circles we talk about ourselves: about what we experience, what emotions we feel, what problems we struggle with, how we live our lives. The Young Adults' Circle focuses primarily on issues close to people entering adult life: on the challenges we face, the new roles we take on, relationships with others. The Circle does not replace therapy, but it can have a therapeutic effect by being heard by the group.
Meetings of the Young Adults' Circle are dedicated to people aged 20-26, regardless of gender.
If at the circle you don't want to speak and you come only to listen — that's okay too!
