MOVEMENT, RHYTHM, WORD – CREATIVE ACTIVITY OF THE STUDENT METHODOLOGICAL CONFERENCE Creative activity of the student, that is, the importance and significance of music education in general schools ✨ 28 NOVEMBER 2025 📍 Intergenerational Education Center, ul. Radosna 11, Warsaw The event is addressed to music teachers working with children and youth in general schools. The aim of this initiative is to create a space for joint, substantive activities of music teachers, especially in relation to new core curricula. We hope that meeting with their authors, exchanging views and experiences will encourage teachers to carry out tasks that stimulate students' activity in creating music. The conference will be an opportunity to present research results conducted by academic centers on music education in schools. We also want to draw special attention to the role of communication in music and through music, introduce good practices, present examples of creative activities, and discuss digital tools in music lessons – how to combine technology with the creative potential of students. The conference is thematically consistent with the 38th National Music Course for Teachers "MOVEMENT, RHYTHM, WORD – integration of arts in music education" ✨ 29-30 November 2025 (Saturday – Sunday) 📍 Intergenerational Education Center, ul. Radosna 11, Warsaw The 38th National Music Course for Teachers, organized by the Polish Carl Orff Society in cooperation with the Wilanów Music Institute, will be an opportunity to experience how music harmonizes (literally and figuratively!) with other fields of art. Sounds will complement movement, dance, improvised theater, performance, and activities using visual means of expression. A space will be created for developing creativity – not only during music lessons at school, but also outside of them – in classes of other subjects, at home, during further education. The course is primarily aimed at teachers working with school-age youth, but other music enthusiasts will also find pleasure and inspiration in it.
