March 6 at 19:00 โ premiere of the MAลA EMPIRIA play at Teatr Studio (based on the essay by Katarzyna Sobczak of the same title).
โMaลa empiriaโ is a theatre of delicacy, attentiveness and reflection โ a one-woman show that speaks about what often goes unnoticed but shapes us deeper than big events.
More about the play: More about the play
After the reflections and emotions, we invite you to the bar for The Great Empiria, to raise a toast to all actresses, directors, writers and everyone who makes the world a better place.
- LUZ MARYJA collective: They fell from the heavens to proclaim that Earth is not the only planet in the universe. With cosmic force and energy they spread the best sounds from the planets they have had the pleasure of playing on over the past few years. They mix techno, psychedelic disco and house. They are unpredictable, driven by love for every creature in the cosmos.
- Pan Tolzdorf: The apparent chaos in his sets is the perfect recipe for filling dancefloors beyond the capitalโs clubs. He is strongly inspired by the atmosphere of the โ70s and the turn of the โ80s and โ90s. He blends pure house with dirty Detroit techno, sweetens the set with classics and psychedelic disco-era hits. Once a resident of the cult Blok Bar. Co-organizer of initiatives related to the LGBT community.
- ELI: She debuted in 2001; since then she has played in most of the countryโs top clubs, at festivals and abroad. In 2002 she founded the DJ trio Lezbend with her friends. In 2003 Lezbend signed a three-year contract with an American booking agency, which resulted in a U.S. tour. From 2006 she was the artistic manager of club 55 in Warsaw. Currently ELI plays solo or in the Luz Maryja collective. On a daily basis she works in photography. IG: Instagram
- Ms Juliet: A singer and performer. Julia believes that her artistic identity is closely linked to her โhumanโ identity, so she treats her actions as an ongoing experiment that enables redefining herself and moving toward a full discovery that tears her out of roles imposed by the environment. Last year she joined the Luz Maryja collective, where she pursues her fascination with electronic music; her sets break deep-house and soft-techno tracks with spoken-word elements, allowing her to sink even deeper into the set.
