What exactly is pleasure? Is it a momentary gratification, a biological impulse, a luxury after “real” obligations — or perhaps a fundamental element of health and freedom? And why is it still suspected, marginalized, and pushed to the bottom of the list when it comes to women?
This lecture is an attempt to reclaim pleasure as a psychological, cultural and political category. We ask questions: do women have the right to pleasure? Do they give it to themselves? Why might a world in which we design reality not around power but around wisely understood pleasure be more caring, creative and sustainable?

16:30–20:00 — Charity campaign "I Am Still a Woman" — conversations in the foyer
Since 2022 Karolina Sobieraj (Fundacja Świadomi Życia) and Julia Klewaniec (Fundacja Picture Doc) have been running the charity campaign "I Am Still a Woman", supporting women before, during and after cancer and promoting breast cancer prevention. The campaign shows that life after illness can be full of strength, femininity and new beginnings.
Every year the organisers invite heroines for a photo session, and in October the campaign appears on screens in central Warsaw, encouraging preventive examinations. On March 8 there will be an opportunity to talk with Karolina and Julia about prevention, support for women and the current edition of the campaign — also in a private conversation, if you need it.
