Based on the multiple-award-winning, bravura and intensely erotic prose of Małgorzata Żarów, the play reveals spaces usually hidden — digital ones where the body becomes a commodity, and urban spaces where loneliness becomes particularly painful.
Cast:
The protagonist, a woman working as a CamGirl, leads us through rented apartments, stairwells, streets and night-transport stops. Along the way she meets Ramona — an amateur fortune-teller, Stefan — a porn actor, and Magda — a friend from the past.

Warsaw here becomes not a backdrop but a full participant in the story — a city that can hide anonymity while at the same time painfully exposing it.
This is a story about intimacy exposed to others’ gazes, about the need to be noticed and the fight for one’s subjectivity. “Snake Charms on Hot Evenings” is a tale where desires and needs collide with expectations — brutal and real.
The book by Małgorzata Żarów published by CZARNE, on which the play is based, received the Gdynia Literary Award 2023 and was also nominated for the Warsaw City Literary Award, the Conrad Award, the Nike Literary Award and the Premio Grand Continent.
