
New Year is a time for sowing intentions and renewing energy. Three days of practice will be a space where, gradually, with mindfulness and calm, we will strengthen and deepen our work with the bandhas – from jalandhara, through uddiyana, to mulabandha. Then we will experience the fruits of this work in asanas, pranayama, and meditation. This is a time for fluid, mindful practice: Each day will become the next step: - January 1 – regeneration and gentle return to the body after the intense days at the end of the year, - January 2 – strengthening the flow of energy and consciously directing the breath, - January 3 – experiencing mahamudra, the synthesis of work with bandhas, pranayama, and meditation. The culmination will be a meditation that will allow you to cleanse the mind and quiet what is unnecessary, so you can enter the New Year with clarity and strength. Before you step onto the mat, pause for a moment and think about the intention you want to offer your practice. Let it guide you through every breath.
