    About the film:
In the heart of a lush durian grove, where love blooms as intensely as tropical fruits, a story unfolds that tears the heart and ignites anger. Thongkam and Sek – inseparable lovers – have built their paradise together. The house, the land, the trees – every inch of that space pulsated with their shared life. Until the day Sek suddenly passes away, and everything they created together becomes the prey of a ruthless family for whom a love without a paper means nothing.

As the smell of durians fills the air, Thongkam finds himself in a fight – not just for land, but for the right to memories and to be recognised. Can a lonely man stand up to a system that continues to deny him a voice?

"The Paradise of Thorns" is a story of passion, loss and injustice that stabs the heart like durian thorns. In a world where love is politics and the law does not protect everyone equally, sometimes the only choice is to fight.
