We invite graduates of Part 1 as well as those who have not completed Part 1 but are familiar with and practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by Marshall B. We, the facilitators, also have our goals: we aim to support participants in achieving their objectives and create a friendly, safe space for skill development. Part 2 of the "BLESS THE CHILDREN" workshops offers more detailed knowledge and, above all, practice compared to Part 1. We work in small groups of up to 9 people because we value connection. Christian values are important to us, and the program includes elements inspired by the biblical figures of Martha and Mary. We cover specific topics (psychoeducational and spiritual), tasks, and exercises. Following Martha's example, we sometimes pause to focus on participants experiencing intense emotions. Facilitators adjust the selection and order of topics to the needs and capabilities of the group. Topics proposed in Part 2 include: - empathy, boundaries, and respect in three NVC modes - four reactions to negative communication - roles - violence triangle – power triangle - independence - praise vs. appreciation - encouraging cooperation - conflict negotiation in parent-child situations - family meetings The facilitators prioritize supporting participants in achieving their goals over covering all topics. Therefore, some topics may be explored in depth while others are skipped.
