In Love with the World. Oman – a film travel meeting with Joanna Grzymkowska-Podolak and Jarek Podolak. Oman – a country about which few people know much. Slowly being discovered, still, fortunately, outside the main tourist stream. A country of coffee, dates, and Sinbad the Sailor :). A country of extremely friendly and hospitable people! For guests who wish to devote their time to it, it offers a lot. With curiosity and a camera, we peeked into old forts and castles, centuries-old villages, and vibrant cities. We did not miss the desert, the sea, or the beautiful valleys hidden in the mountains. However, the most valuable were the meetings with the Omanis themselves, the time spent with them and at their homes. We want to show you all of this! Not just in photos. We hope to take you on a film journey, after which you too will feel how beautiful and surprising Oman is – the only country in the world starting with the letter "O". Joanna Grzymkowska-Podolak – journalist, traveler, author of four travel books: "In Love with the World. Morocco", "In Love with the World. India", "In Love with the World. Malaysia", "In Love with the World. Cambodia". The fifth is in preparation: "In Love with the World. About a journey that never ends". She began her media career in news journalism at TVP Olsztyn. There she met a cameraman, now her husband – Jarosław Podolak. As a reporter, she co-created the daily editorial team of Dzień Dobry TVN. For three years, she was a repeatedly awarded journalist and producer of Pytanie na Śniadanie. As a director, she collaborated on the largest lifestyle television projects. She gave up her permanent job in television for her own travel projects. For 15 years, she has been the author of travel meetings in Poland and abroad. Speaker at the largest travel festivals. Lover of the world and people :). Together with her husband Jarek, she created the travel duo In Love with the World. In 2019, she began a year-long journey through Asia, where she stayed until the second half of 2020, observing the covid reality of that part of the world from a traveler's perspective. Jarosław Podolak – Master of Arts. Graduate of the National Film School in Łódź. Experienced cameraman – from news formats, through journalistic, to film. Author of cinematography for films presented and awarded at international film festivals. Author of photos for travel presentations and books from the In Love with the World series. For 15 years, author of travel meetings in Poland and abroad. Speaker at the largest travel festivals. Lover of the world and people. Together with his wife Asia, he created the travel duo In Love with the World.
