    About the event

Speakers: Kamila and Jędrzej Józefowicz Room: Broadway 💰 Admission: 7 PLN, buy a ticket online or at DK Kadr In August 2018, Jędrek landed on the island for the first time, not yet knowing how much he would fall in love with it and that a few years later he would return twice, spending over 10 months there in total with his wife Kamila, working in hotels and restaurants. Iceland, as it is called, is the island of fire and ice, mountains, fjords, and waterfalls. Incredible landscapes and close contact with nature. By attending Kamila and Jędrzej's lecture, you will get to know Iceland from two perspectives. Through the eyes of tourists who have reached many recommended places, and through the eyes of residents who are eager to share stories from everyday life in Iceland. - Is it easy to find a job on the island? - What is it like to work with Icelanders? - Can you live without a "real summer"? - What is worth seeing in Iceland? You will hear answers to these and many other questions during Kamila and Jędrzej Józefowicz's lecture. About the authors: Here are Kamila and Jędrzej Józefowicz. We are a married couple united by a passion for traveling. For years, we have been organizing a travel festival together – the Zaniemyski Adventure Festival in Zaniemyśl, 36 km from Poznań. Kamila studied tourism as well as finance and accounting, while Jędrzej studied journalism and pedagogy. For nearly a year, with breaks, we lived in Iceland. Today, we return to Iceland as tour leaders. In our lives, we have reached many interesting places. We have been to Greenland, Egypt, Jordan. With our small passenger car, we traveled all over Scandinavia and beyond. We write books, guide tours, and share our travel stories in libraries, cultural centers, schools, and at travel festivals all over the country.
