MSc Zuzanna Wędołowska — dietitian and psychologist specialising in feeding children up to 10 years old. She spreads calm and confidence that there is a child’s need for good nutrition. Author of trainings and courses for parents and professionals. Co-author of the guide 'Rozgryzione. Jak nauczyć dziecko dobrze jeść?'. Since 2015 she has been active online (profile Szpinak robi bleee), supporting parents in dealing with children's feeding difficulties. She conducts trainings for professionals, helping them increase the competencies necessary to work with children and parents.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The training presents a broad perspective on feeding young children that helps to better understand the complexity of the relationship between a child learning to eat and a parent trying to feed them. We invite people who work with children with feeding difficulties and who are training in this area.

Thanks to the instructor’s many years of experience working with thousands of parents (during individual consultations and on social media) and knowledge in psychology, dietetics and psychodietetics, the training will help raise competencies in supporting the child and parent in good nutrition.

A frequent barrier to overcoming a child’s feeding difficulties (regardless of their level and causes) is the lack of cooperation between the parent, the child and the specialist. Even the best therapy is short-lived and brings little effect if it is not continued by the parent at home.

A parent who is cared for and supported (emotionally and intellectually) will be able to support their child also outside the clinic.

The training 'The child-parent-food triad — feeding difficulties in young children from a psychodietetics perspective' helps to identify possible feeding problems from the child’s and the parent’s perspective and to effectively implement the necessary changes.

At the training you will gain broad knowledge about the psychological and psychodietetic aspects of feeding young children. You will learn the mechanisms underlying certain feeding behaviours of children and parents, and you will enrich your professional toolkit with practical working tools.
