Embodiment and Bloom – Women's Gatherings at the Somatic Studio

What is this day about for us? It is primarily a pretext to gather: to be together in a circle of women, to meet other women, to pause and spend the day caring for ourselves and our needs. It is also the time of early spring — the first warm days that herald new beginnings.

The practices we propose will circle around the cyclic nature of the female body, returning to it with tenderness and finding a sense of home within it. We will offer six somatic practices that will help gently reconnect with the energy returning after winter, opening to movement, breath, and flow. Practices that support seeking balance, transformation, and re-rooting in embodied presence, inviting bodies to attune to the cyclical orders of nature.

This day is also a pretext to open the studio's doors wider and let you get to know us better. Throughout the day we will be waiting with warm tea, coffee, and healthy snacks. There will be time for conversations, for silence, for meeting one another, and for simply being in the space.

There will also be an open workshop space in the spirit of reuse/remake. You will find various materials there: cut-outs, fabrics, beads, small elements for creating. It is an invitation to creative expression and imagination — without pressure for an outcome. Keeping the hands busy often opens the heart and leads to meaningful conversations. You are welcome to bring your own materials that you would like to give new life to — to transform something, rework it, symbolically close a chapter or begin a new one.

• 16:30–17:30 — Yin Yoga | Agnieszka Gilewska (25 PLN)
• 18:00–19:00 — "Hello, body!" — somatic meditation in the SOMA approach | Basia Knap (25 PLN)

Registration is required for all classes. You may purchase single class tickets or a full-day pass (150 PLN).

WORKSHOP SPACE:

The workshop space will be available until 17:00 — you can use it at your own pace. Participation is donation-based. The minimum contribution upon registration is 20 PLN to help cover basic organizational costs. If you feel willing and able, you are welcome to support the studio with a higher amount — either when registering or on site. Every form of support matters and helps us continue to grow this space. Registration for the workshop space is not required.
