Tango on a Cinematic Note | concert

We invite you into a tango-and-film world filled with emotional music and captivating tango figures. For years, tango has been eagerly embraced by filmmakers, as tango music – like no other – expresses the full depth of human emotions, both the positive ones, such as love, and the less noble – yet still profoundly human – such as hatred, despair, or sorrow.

During the concert performed by the choir and orchestra of the Tango Para Todos Formation, we will present the most beautiful instrumental and vocal tango pieces that have appeared in various film productions. Selected works will be accompanied by a tango dance performance by a professional dance couple. After the concert, we invite you to a tango party.

ACCESSIBILITY:

• The entrance to the OKO performance hall is entrance no. 2 to the building.
• The hall is located in the building's basement; it is accessed via several flights of stairs equipped with handrails.
• The building has an accessible toilet with a changing table and a pink box.
• The interior of the performance hall, foyer, toilets and cloakroom is free of architectural barriers, including thresholds.
• Currently access to the performance hall for wheelchair users is difficult; measures are underway to improve accessibility. The elevator is planned to be operational in the first quarter of 2026.
• The reception is equipped with an induction loop and a magnifying glass.
• Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed in the hall.
