ADOPT A WARSAWIAN – the next edition of the Adopt a Warsawian campaign and a meeting with the residents of the Paluch Shelter is ahead of us! This is one of the most beloved outdoor events among animal lovers and Warsaw residents. 📅 September 7 (Sunday) 📍 Sowiński Park, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM Free admission The face of this event is DJANGO (no. 1611/23) - a young, energetic dog who loves human contact. He has been with us for almost two years now and has made tremendous progress during this time. He is increasingly handling difficult situations better, learning to control his emotions, and reacting more calmly to his surroundings. Django loves walks and every moment close to his caretaker. He is a loyal and sensitive dog who dreams of his own place in the world. He will thrive best as the only dog in a home, alongside someone who can provide him with stability, peace, and understanding. Django is a lifelong friend: loyal, affectionate, and eager for closeness. Maybe he’s waiting just for you? More about him: https://napaluchu.waw.pl/pet/012302668/ Event attractions: - Meeting dogs from Paluch and their caretakers - FREE MICROCHIPPING for Warsaw dogs (be sure to bring a health booklet with current rabies vaccination and an ID card) - Cat corner #catwarsawian with a gallery of cats available for adoption - Kids’ zone Visit our booth! We’ll talk about how to help homeless animals, how to properly care for a pet, and what working in a shelter looks like. We’ll answer questions and share information about volunteering. We warmly invite our former residents – come with your dogs and show how wonderful life looks after adoption! For those interested, there will also be a short obstacle course that you can complete together with your pet.
