ZOO Enthusiasts at Work: Unique Meetings with Caretakers

This Saturday, October 4th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we invite you to unique meetings with the Caretakers at the Hippo House of the Warsaw ZOO! All of this is to celebrate two important holidays: World Animal Day and International Animal Caretaker Day. World Animal Day was established to remind us that animals are living beings with rights. It is also a moment to draw attention to the problem of endangered species and the need for ethical treatment of animals. On the other hand, International Animal Caretaker Day celebrates the amazing people who care for our animals every day. Let’s remember them and the animals not just on holidays! This year, we invite you to a special event at the Hippo House. It will be an extraordinary opportunity to hear fascinating stories about our residents, learn about the daily work of the Caretakers, and discover what superpowers are needed to care for such diverse species. EVENT SCHEDULE – HIPPO HOUSE (meetings with Caretakers, schedule will be updated regularly): - 10:15 - Birds - 10:45 - Predators - 11:00 - Invertebrates - 11:15 - Giraffes - 11:30 - Amazon Aquarium - 11:45 - Elephants and Rhinos - 12:15 - Hippos - 12:45 - Hoofed Animals And that's not all!
