On Saturday, October 4th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the third edition of the picnic "Animals in the Big City" will take place at Roman Kozłowski Park (Kopa Cwila). This event is aimed at all animal lovers, their caretakers, and families with children. Participants can enjoy numerous educational and practical attractions. On-site, free consultations with specialists will be available: - Veterinarian - Behaviorist - Expert in animal rights The program includes, among others: - Workshops with a cat behaviorist - Demonstrations with a dog trainer focused on preventing pets from escaping and strengthening their obedience - A veterinarian will talk about daily animal care, answer questions about sterilization, castration, and microchipping, and present the principles of providing first aid to pets For the youngest attendees, there will be: - A special educational game "How to find a lost animal and bring it home" - Workshops on creating toys for pets - Face painting - Animations There will also be booths from event partners: - "Na Paluchu" Animal Shelter along with the Environmental Protection Office of the City of Warsaw - Warsaw Zoo named after Antonina and Jan Żabiński - MPWiK, which will once again invite attendees to taste Warsaw tap water The picnic will be accompanied by the Celestyniak Gathering, organized by the Animal Shelter in Celestynów. This event is part of the "Alert for Animals," which has been collecting donations for shelter residents for 15 years.
