"Mars"

Scena Supernova invites you to Marius von Mayenburg's play “Mars” directed by Jakub Kowalik. Will humanity retain its humanity in the face of catastrophe? “Mars” is an oneiric journey into human fears and desires. In a world where nature rebels against the dominance of Homo sapiens and inequalities and conflicts escalate, a group of survivors dreams of escaping to a Martian colony.

Their route, however, leads through a series of moral choices and surreal obstacles posed by the mysterious android Yannik, who mercilessly selects candidates for the new life. This is not only theatre — it is an immersive experience: the audience moves together with the actors through a courtyard, staircases and hidden corners of a historic tenement at Zyblikiewicza 12 in Kraków.
