Description:
"The streets around the buildings were torn open, because from under the ground they were just excavating an old concentration camp to build a big shopping mall there, a luxury housing estate and a breathtaking multi-storey car park for five thousand cars, which the city was very proud of (…). It was supposed to be a great attraction for this poor, moribund region, on a European scale."*
The excavations never end, or maybe they never begin – in the metropolis or in the provinces, or perhaps both at once, the fabric of the city seems to be torn apart and at the same time created by a magical, oozing wound. It never heals – the worries of the past, present and future permeate the characters with their radiation, something hangs in the air between her and him, half-smiles at the family table and at the bar multiply, losing individuality. Some images will burn into the retina forever, marking the rest of life. It's good that sometimes a big white ship docks in the port. There is a waterpark, a fitness Godzilla, Polish animators, and soon we'll surely manage to get there, once we finally cut the strings that bind us.
